Dev Purkayastha
Founder, CEO
Our founder and CEO, Dev Purkayastha, founded Indevia Accounting after he had difficulty finding a reliable, high-quality accounting firm to handle his family entities. Dev is a Chartered Accountant trained at Price Waterhouse, a successful venture capital investor, and a former member of a retail store franchisor’s Board of Directors. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Wendy McGuire
Co-President
Wendy’s experience ranges from executive roles in finance, training, operations, and the non-profit sector, to her parallel career in the US Army, where she retired as a colonel. She has a BA from Whitman College, a MSBA from Boston University, a MSS from the US Army War College, and extensive experience as a board member and volunteer. Her role models are her parents — highly accomplished professionals who made learning an adventure, honesty a given, and joke telling an art. She has three fabulous daughters, a fine husband, a big black dog, and loves to teach, travel, read, watch movies, and camp in her camper van.
Avijit Paul
Director & EVP – Innovation
Avijit is a transformational thinker in strategic insights, operational excellence, and process improvement. At Indevia, he drives innovation with a passion for AI, automation, and process efficiency. Previously, he led IT, Lean, and management consulting for Fortune 100 clients like American Express and Johnson & Johnson and helped launch India’s first mobile money product and a $100 million data center at Vodafone. An Engineer and MBA, Avijit is also a certified Black Belt from GE, TCS and ASQ. Named an Innovation Leader at the Global Innovation Congress 2024, he lives by the mantra, "Learning never stops, wonders never cease," and recently completed the AI Implications for Business Strategy program at MIT Sloan.
Anchalina (Angela) Mathew
VP - HR & Operations
Anchalina Mathew has over 11 years of Human Resource (HR )management experience and manages all the generalists and partner resource functions. She has notable experience in strategic HR planning, performance management, staffing, state law compliance, employment contract negotiations, employee benefits, compensation and payroll, training and development, performance management system and coaching. She holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and joined the Indevia team in 2016. She is married and dotes on her three dogs.
Vishal Vijayan
VP - Information Technology
Vishal Vijayan has significantly contributed to technological advancements and IT operations optimization since 2017, leveraging his 25 years of IT experience. He holds various certifications in IT management and cybersecurity and is known for his leadership and problem-solving skills, maintaining high standards, enhancing business processes and client service through technology and automation. Outside work, Vishal is a passionate traveller and foodie, exploring new places, and engaging with industry peers in cybersecurity forums.
Dinesh Gogavale
Sr. Manager, Accounts
Dinesh joined Indevia Operations Team in 2012. He holds B.Com in Accounts and Economics from Dahanukar College, Mumbai. Dinesh has over 22 years of work experience spread across various Accounting and Operations functions. He likes to work closely with the team and clients, building rapport and trust to deliver on long-term goals and objectives.
Lorson Lopes
Sr. Manager, Accounts
Lorson joined Indevia in 2012. He acquired his Master’s degree in Commerce from Mumbai University. Lorson has over 14 years of experience in accounting and finance. Before joining Indevia, Lorson worked in Quattrro FPO Solutions as Accounts Officer for over six years. He is also a certified QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor.
Dhun Mistry
Sr. Manager – Quality Control
On October 19, 2020, Dhun became a part of Indevia. She graduated from Mumbai University with a Master of Commerce in Accounting and Finance. While attending college, Dhun began her professional career. She was employed part-time by a CA firm, where she received her foundation in accounting. She genuinely believes in the "Earn and Learn" philosophy. She has worked in the accounting, finance, and taxation fields for more than 18 years. The tenet "Always give your best at right time and in right fashion" guides her work. Additional educational Qualifications/certifications Quickbooks ProAdvisor & Quickbooks Advance ProAdvisor, Advanced Excel and Power BI Certification, Business Communication and Accent Neutralization. Dhun is happily married and has two daughters. She is the kind of person who finds joy in seeing good things in everything.
Hussain Manasawala
Sr. Manager - Accounts
Hussain joined Indevia Operations Team in 2017. He holds a B.Com in Accounts from Ramanand Arya D.A.V College, Mumbai. Hussain has 10+ years of work experience spread across various Accounting and Operations functions. He has been a Business Adviser to many of our clients and recommended good cost-saving techniques. He likes to work closely with the team and clients.
